A research into Italian Faculties of Economics teaching French has given the author the possibility of elaborating a detailed framework of the actual teaching typologies. Their main characteristic seems to be a lack of homogeneity that is reflected by the types of tests proposed for the examinations. This analysis of the author’s teaching experience raises new questions about standards of training.
