1. Rosario-Lorrin-Bona de Santos menjampaikan teks, terdjemahan dan komentar sebuah ballade jang dikumpulkan tahun 1968 disebuah desa di daerah Ifugao (ditengah pulau Luzon). Teks tersebut mentjeri- terakan keluhan2 seorang orang gungung jang telah ditarik ke hutan pada waktu djaman pertahanan anti-Djepang (1942-1945) dan jang tiba2 berhadapan dengan kekedjaman perang dunia ke II. Dari sudut bahasa dan metrik ballade tersebut sangat menarik dan djuga sekaligus merupakan dokumen sosiologi.

II. (1) Rosario Lorrin-Bona de Santos presents the text, the translation and commentary of a ballad collected in 1968 in a village in the Ifugao country (center of the island of Luçon). It recounts the lament of a montagnard who had joined the guerrillas during the anti-Japanese resistance (1942-45), and who found himself brusquely confronted with the demanding brutalities of the Second World War. Interesting from the point of view of language and meter, this ballad is also a sociological document.
