Rescue excavations in 1999 (coordinated by С. Thooris) along the planned Tours-Le Mans-Alençon motorway (A28) led to the discovery of dwelling structures dating from the Middle Neolithic (Cerny) at Vivoin: several combustion features are associated with a large building in the Danubian tradition. The numerous remains (ceramic and lithic) found with these structures have helped renew the corpus available in this little known area, the north of the Loire region.

Une fouille préventive conduite en 1999, sur le tracé de l'autoroute A28 Tours-Le Mans-Alençon (sous la coordination de C. Thooris, Inrap), a permis la découverte de structures d'habitat du Néolithique moyen I à Vivoin (au nord des Pays de la Loire) : quelques structures de combustion sont associées à un grand bâtiment de tradition danubienne. Le mobilier lié à ces structures (céramiques et lithiques) est relativement abondant et renouvelle le corpus disponible dans une région peu connue.
