Measures to help vulnerable young people into adulthood : France and Germany look at each other. This article considers the specific measures to help young people with social and family difficulties into adulthood in a comparative approach to France and Germany. By comparing French and German analyses, the aim is to outline the manner in which support measures were developed and the questions now raised about them. The article focuses on the tension of their application between professional discourse and subjective perception by young people of the help they are offered.

Cet article s’intéresse aux dispositifs spécifiques d’accompagnement à l’âge adulte des jeunes en difficultés sociales et familiales, dans une approche comparée France-Allemagne. En alternant les analyses françaises et allemandes, l’objectif est de retracer la façon dont ces dispositifs d’accompagnement ont été construits et les questions dont ils font aujourd’hui l’objet. Il s’intéresse également aux tensions qui traversent leur mise en oeuvre entre les rhétoriques professionnelles et les perceptions subjectives par les jeunes des aides proposées.
