Diese Arbeit gliedert sich in zwei Telle, die jeweils verschiedene Dimensionen der vielfältigen Realität dieses besonderen Objekts, der Fibel, darstellen. Der erste Teil zeichnet die Hauptetappen der Staatskontrolle der Fibeln im 19. und 20. Jahrhundert nach, wobei zwischen vier große Perioden unterschieden wird : der Entstehung des liberalen Bildungs systems (1813-1868), der Welter entwicklung und anschliefiender Krise dieses liberalen Systems (1868-1939), seinem Verschwinden und seiner Ersetzung durch ein autoritäres System (1939-1975). Esfolgt schließlich die aktuelle Epoche, die mit der Restauration der Democratie unter Juan Carlos I. beginnt. Der zweite Teil untersucht die Realität der Fibel während der ganzen Periode, sowhohl als pädagogisches Gebrauchsobjekt in den Schulen, als auch als wirtschaftliches Produkt expandierender Verleger. Dabei werden auch die Typen und Merkmale der existie- renden Fibeln, ihre Gebrauchsfunktion, sowie die Herstellung und Angebot- und Nachfrageprozesse in diesem Bereich betont.

This work is divided into two parts, each one analysing from different angles the complex reality of this special object: the schoolbook. The first part introduces a general outline of the legal control on schoolbooks during the nineteenth and twentieth centuries, and distinguishes four main periods: the genesis and rise of the liberal educational system (1813-1868), the development and crisis of the liberal system (1868-1939), its disappearance and replacement by an authoritarian system (1939-1975) and the present moment, which begins with the restoration of democracy under the Juan Carlos I monarchy. The second part analyses the contours of the schoolbook as a pedagogical tool in common use in schools, and as a product of the ever expanding publishing market during this period. The types and characteristics of existing schoolbooks and the ways of using them, as well as the production and the supply and demand process in this field.

Ce travail s'organise en deux parties, dont chacune permet d'analyser diverses dimensions de la réalité complexe de cet objet particulier qu'est le livre scolaire. La première présente les grandes lignes du contrôle légal des manuels scolaires pendant les XIXe et XXe siècles, en distinguant quatre grandes périodes : la genèse et la naissance du système éducatif libéral (1813-1868), son développement et la crise du système libéral (1868-1939), sa disparition et son remplacement par un autre à caractère autoritaire (1939-1975) et le cycle actuel, qui commence avec la Restauration de la démocratie, sous la monarchie de Juan Carlos I. La seconde partie analyse la réalité du livre scolaire en tant qu'instrument pédagogique d'usage commun dans les établissements et en tant que produit de maisons d'édition en expansion croissante pendant la période étudiée, en insistant pour cela sur les types et les caractéristiques des manuels existants et leurs modes d'utilisation, ainsi que sur la production et les processus de l'offre et de la demande dans ce domaine.
