Jean-Claude Delaunay, Class Struggle and Citizenship in Contemporary France In France at the present time, the relation between class struggle and citizenship is in flux because of important changes in the definition of geographical space. Review of the evolution in the articulation between class struggle and citizenship over the past two centuries reveals the uniqueness of the present period.
