Logistics and organisations of firms in France in an European context The accession of new producing workforms allows to do the regional initiative, playing a great roll and creating new employment forms. It is the result of three trends : new working division, new implanting logic, new large diversifing networks. The importance of developing environment is very essential, thanks to upper services, assembled in great cities and especially in technopolis, whence the major roll of regional initiatives. For the firms, the network system is an essential element for favourable result of firms strategies. The new communication technics allow the decentralization of decisions and the transportation have an important roll. The great firms get into working order of european and transnational networks ; they organize «competence networks» within the framework of an european and worldwide system. The repartition of implantations is modified in function of rapid connections with great traffic axles. Therefore the regional dynamics are very dependent from the good management of reciprocal action networks. In opposite viewpoint, it is present a progressive bordering of no polarized spaces on hubs and traffic axles. The France, specially the Northern Region, are in a good situation, thanks to their position in Western Europe, their know-how and their great technical capacity, but the investments are more world-wide than local capitals.

L'avènement de nouvelles formes de travail productif permet à l'initiative régionale de jouer un grand rôle et de créer de nouvelles formes d'emplois. C'est le résultat de trois orientations : nouvelle division du travail, nouvelle logique des implantations, large diversification des réseaux d'entreprises. L'importance d'un environnement attractif est devenu capital grâce aux services supérieurs rassemblés dans les grandes villes, et surtout les technopôles ; d'où le rôle majeur des initiatives régionales. Pour les entreprises, l'organisation des réseaux est un élément essentiel du succès des stratégies internationales. Les nouvelles techniques de communication permettent la décentralisation des décisions et les transports jouent un rôle considérables dans les décisions de localisation. Les grandes entreprises s'organisent en réseaux européens et transnationaux ; elles installent des réseaux de compétence dans le cadre d'un système global. La répartition des localisations est modifiée en fonction des connexions rapides avec les grands axes de circulation. Aussi, les dynamiques régionales sont-elles très dépendantes de la bonne gestion des réseaux interactifs. En contre-partie, on assiste à une marginalisation progressive des espaces non polarisés sur des noeuds ou axes de transport. La France est bien placée, et spécialement la Région du Nord, grâce à leur situation en Europe occidentale, leur savoir-faire, leur grande capacité technique, mais les investissements sont désormais plus internationaux que locaux.
