From actions and emotions to social phenomena : cognition and interpretation. Analysis of individual action shows the duality between activation of motor models and representation of satisfaction conditions. Following this paradigm, we can examine effects that make sense, and collective coordinations. Study of emotions, that is reaction to phase transitions, to triggering of revisions, can be associated with those ways of being in phase, those intertwinings. Status of collective actions, emotions and representations can be specified. They are the objects of a sociological analysis that while focusing on stabilities and invariancies in sense effects can be extended to the more unstable world of symbolism. Cognition and interpretation are thus thought of as correlative notions.

L'action individuelle présente une dualité entre activation de modèles moteurs et représentation des conditions de satisfaction. Sur le modèle de cette dualité entre processus irréductibles, on peut concevoir les effets de sens et les coordinations collectives. A ces mises en phases, ces entrelacements, il faut associer l'étude des émotions, réactions aux transitions de phases, aux déclenchements de révisions. On peut alors définir le statut des actions, des émotions et des représentations collectives, objets d'une sociologie qui tout en se concentrant sur les invariances des effets de sens stables, peut étendre son analyse au monde plus instable du symbolique. Cognition et interprétation sont ainsi conçues comme corrélatives.
