In 1977, Jacques Lefrere found an Iliad in Spanish which contained a statement of ownership by Isidore Ducasse, Count of Lautréamont, which reveals possession of another book. Its analysis, combined with a remarkable synthesis of the criticism, provides great insight in locating the work — and the author, to some degree.
