The 28 August 1989 wildfire caused an important acceleration of the activity of sporadic streams, first with a thick filling during 1989-1990 and then with a cutting-down during 1990-1991. Then, it was possible to think that a precocious stabilization of morphogenesis occured owing to the swift recolonization by the vegetation. However, an exceptional flood in September 1991 showed that the stabilization remains partial.

L'incendie d'août 1989 a provoqué une accélération considérable de la dynamique des ruisseaux intermittents, d'abord par une forte accumulation en 1989-1990, puis par une incision en 1990-1991. Il était alors possible de perser à une stabilisation précoce de la morphogenèse grâce à la recolonisation végétale rapide. Cependant, la crue exceptionnelle de septembre 1991 montre que cette stabilisation reste imparfaite.
