Résumé
Le gisement de Jaurens (Corrèze, France) a livré une canine supérieure humaine. La forme globuleuse de la couronne et la convexité de sa face vestibulaire permettent d'attribuer celte dent à un Homo sapiens neanderthalensis. La datation radiométrique du site confère à ce fossile un âge à peine supérieur à 30 000 ans BP. Cette dent appartient sans doute à l'un des derniers représentants connus des Paléanthropiens.
