. — A lot comprising 65 pseudo-Athenian silver coins came onto the market from Afghanistan in 1990 and a selection was acquired by the Cabinet des médailles. They extend our knowledge of the irregular issues of coinage in central Asia prior to the major royal coinages of Hellenistic Bactria.
