Transformations of the consensus Italiae and of the Italiae totius auctoritas on which the imperial power still rested under the Flavians when Domitian's auctoritas, although it was exercised in the favour of Italy, developed the germs of autokrateia inherent in the notions and realities of imperium said principatus, from the moment they came to be associated, inherent also in the geographic expansion of the Roman dominium.

Mutations du consensus Italiae et de l'Italiae totius auctoritas sur lesquels demeure appuyé, avec les Flaviens, le pouvoir impérial, quand l'auctoritas de Domitien, lors même qu'elle s'exerce en faveur de l'Italie et des Italiens, développe les germes d'autokrateia inhérents aux notions et aux réalités l'imperium et de principatus du moment qu'elles sont associées, ainsi qu'à l'extension géographique du dominium romain.
