Die Arzneihandlerin von Françoise Duparc. Das Kunstmuseum in Marseille enthält ein Bild der provenzalischen Schule des 18. Jahrhunderts : « Die Arzneihändlerin ». Dieses Bild, das als eines der Meisterwerke der Malerin Françoise Duparc (1726-1778) gilt, stellt eine junge Frau dar, die ein graues Kleid mit weisser Latzschürze trägt, aus der oben ein blaugestreiftes Halstuch hervorragt. Sie trägt das weisse Häubchen der Frauen des Volkes. Eine Wasserkanne ist an ihren Schultern auf gehängt, und sie halt einen Becher in der linken Hand. Angeblich gibt es keine andere Darstellung dieses Volkstyps einer provenzalischen Händlerin.

The infusion seller by Françoise Duparc. The Art Museum in Marseilles keeps a picture of the provençale school of the XVIIIth century, the Infusion Seller. Considered as one of the masterpieces of the painter Françoise Duparc (1726-1778), this painting represents a young woman clothed in a grey dress that is protected by a white apron witlh a bib, and from which a shawl with a blue stripe emerges. She wears the white coif of the women belonging to the common people. A fountain is hanging on her shoulders and she holds a goblet in her left hand. .
