Destroy illusion. Note on a kierkegaardian thema. Kierkegaard's thought, constituted by a determination of existential reality, denounces illusion as constitutive of systematic totalisations, whether social or intellectual. The point of departure of this pursuit is the affirmation of existence as an irreducible concrete situation, and it is this starting-point which gives it its meaning; and in this concrete situation, the radical destruction of illusion is effected only by breaking with every purely immanent viewpoint, and by redoublement as way of life and as task for man.

Se constituant par une détermination de la réalité existentielle, la pensée de Kierkegaard dénonce l'illusion comme constitutive des totalisations systématiques (sociales ou intellectuelles). C'est à partir d'une affirmation de l'existence comme lieu irréductible que cette recherche prend sens ; et en ce lieu, la destruction radicale de l'illusion n'est effectuée que par la rupture avec toute perspective simplement immanente et par le redoublement comme voie et tâche pour l'homme.
