Researches carried out in a villa in La Vautubière at Coudoux (Bouches-du-Rhône) are in the continuity of diggings already started on the site of the Etang de Berre. These works allowed to bring to light baths combining two heated rooms. The heating room was later transformed into a kitchen, with a baking oven, working benches and a small hearth for cooking. Though the site had been occupied since the end of the first century B.C. until the seventh century A.D. the different stages of the building probably space out over the second half of the first century until the third century A.D. and were partially used again later (3rd or 5th century A.D. ?).

Les recherches qui se sont déroulées sur la villa de la Vautubière à Coudoux (Bouches-du-Rhône) s'inscrivent dans la continuité des travaux déjà menés dans la région de l'Étang de Berre. Elles ont permis de mettre au jour un balnéaire composé de deux pièces chauffées. La salle de chauffe a été transformée dans le dernier état en cuisine possédant un four à pain, des banquettes de travail et un petit foyer culinaire. Si le site est occupé de la fin du Ier s. av. J.-C. au Ve s. ap. J.-C, les différents états du bâtiment s'échelonnent probablement de la deuxième moitié du Ier s. au 111e s. ap. J.-C. avec une réutilisation partielle postérieure (me-ve s. ap. J.-C. ?).
