Zusammenfassung. — Die vorliegende Arbeit handelt von den Problemen der Kindheit, — der Wahrnehmung des Gebirges, der Schul- probleme, der Gesundheit in den landlichen Zonen der französischen Berge, so wie sie offiziell dargestellt werden. Vier Fragebogen haben ermôglicht, in Verbindung mit zehn — , elf — jährigen Kindern, Lehrern, Stadtràten und Eltern zu treten. Die grofie Anzahl von Antworten hat dazu gefiihrt, nach Mus tern zu arbeiten.

. — The present work deals with the problems of childhood — perception of the mountain, schooling, health — in the rural zones of the French mountains as they are officially defined. Four questionnaires have made it possible to approach the 10 to 11 year-olds, the teachers and parents and the elected members of the municipalities. The large number of replies has led to working on selected types.

. — Le présent ouvrage traite des problèmes de l'enfance — perception de la montagne, scolarisation, santé — dans les zones rurales de la montagne française telle qu'elle est définie officiellement. Quatre questionnaires ont permis de toucher les enfants de 10-11 ans, les instituteurs, les élus municipaux, les parents d'élèves. Le grand nombre de réponses a conduit à travailler sur échantillons.
