Contrary to earlier suppositions, the commentary on the Metamorphoses of Ovid in the ms. Bibl. Estense lat. 306 is not by the humanist Giovanni Picenardi. It is a twelfth-century commentary encountered in several other mss.

Contrairement aux suppositions antérieures, le commentaire aux Métamorphoses d'Ovide du ms. de la Bibl. Estense lat. 306 n'est pas dû à l'humaniste Giovanni Picenardi. Il s'agit d'un commentaire du XIIe s., que l'on rencontre dans plusieurs autres mss.
