Denis Gaillard and Daniel Roger, A Gallo-Roman burial zone in the Rues-des- Vignes (Nord). The village of the Rue-des-Vignes (Nord) has known a Gallo-Roman occupation whose spacial and chronological limits remain very ill known. The discovery of a second burial zone, after that of the sports centre (1976), adds a new geographical element to the Gallo-Roman settlement. In this newly discovered burial zone, six cremation and three burial graves could be made out. These remnants are situated within an original stratigraphical structure which mingles graves and circulation levels. The totality of this site was probably occupied between the end of the 1st century and the end of the IIIrd.

Le village des Rues-des- Vignes (Nord) a connu une occupation gallo-romaine dont les limites spatiales et chronologiques restent très mal connues. La découverte d'une deuxième zone funéraire, après celle du centre socio- sportif (1976), donne un nouvel élément de géographie de l'implantation gallo-romaine. On a pu dégager, dans cette nouvelle zone funéraire, six sépultures à incinération et trois tombes à inhumation. Ces vestiges prennent place dans une stratigraphie originale où se mêlent sépultures et niveaux de circulation. L'ensemble du site est probablement occupé entre la fin du Ier siècle et la fin du IIIe.

Het dorp Rues-des-Vignes (Nord) heeft een galloro- meinse bewoning gekend, waarvan men de geografie en chronologie niet kent. De ontdekking van een tweede grafveld, naast dat van het sportcentrum (1976), is een nieuw geografisch element voor de galloromeinse bewoning. Men heeft zes verassingsgraven blootgelegd en drie andere. De overblijfselen bevinden zich in de origi- nele stratigrafie, waarin graf- en bezettingslagen afwis- selen. De site werd waarschijnlijk bezet tussen het einde van de eerste en het einde van de derde eeuw.
