Résumé
Jules Klagmann was un artist creating small scale objects for goldsmiths and bronze makers as well as monumental statuary. He was also a champion of «industrial » workers, and one of the founding members of the actual «Union centrale des Arts décoratifs » . This paper studies his numerous and little known creations for the manufacture, first as a free-lance artist (1838-1847) and then as a member of the workforce (1848-1858).
