Das Beaujeu Antiklinal stellt den Vorgang einer Deckendeformation in einer Scheerzone, die fortwährenden mechanischen Bewegungen unterworfen ist, bildlich dar. Diese Deformation wird durch eine steigende durchpausende Bruchtektonik kontrolliert. Dem potentiellen Blattverschiebungsspiel entspricht die Faltenbildung im linkshändigen Echelonsystem. Das Blattverschiebungspiel führt zur Modellierung dieser Struktur, die sich zuerst in einer Vergens äussert und dann in einer Zerstückelung mit Translation und Rotation., Dieses führt schliesslich von einer ursprünglich N 135 gerichteten Strukturorganisation in eine kartographische Stellung von N 150.
