The production of housing in Yougoslavie meets with numerous difficulties and contradictions. It is a question of bringing out the institutions with the appro¬ priate economical, financial and technical capabilities in order to realise the set projects. Above all, the appropriate land resources to be urbanised should be found. If, in the frame of self-management, a commune has been endowed with a bigger scope, that does not resolve all problems, notably that of the planning and the rural diffusion of low quality housing.

La production du logement en Yougoslavie se heurte à de nombreuses difficultés et contradictions. Il s'agit de dégager les institutions ayant les capacités économiques, financières et techniques de réalisation. Il faut surtout trouver les ressources foncières pour l'urbanisation. Si dans le cadre de l'autogestion, la com¬ mune a été dotée des plus grandes compétences, cela ne résout pas tous les problèmes, notamment d'aménagement et de diffusion rurale de logements de basse qualité.
