Norwegian Election Study, 1957

This study, conducted in two waves, collected data from a national sample of the Norwegian electorate. Respondents were interviewed after the 1957 election. Information was gathered on the attentiveness of the respondents to the campaign, their opinions on issues in the campaign, organizational membership, political participation, partisanship, and voting history. Demographic variables include education, age, marital status, party membership, and subjective class identification. Wave 1 included 1,546 respondents, while Wave 2 included 1,406.
