Humbly introduced as the simple desire to draw attention to an important, but unfortunately hitherto rather neglected text, C. Melville’s contribution is an excellent and in depth state of the art account of what has been done on Ibn Ḥusām’s Ḫāvarān-nāme, including the available manuscripts and major studies.
