This article is an in-depth response to an article previously published by A. Faust (see the abstract in Abstracta Iranica, vol. 40-41, R3-2-2, n° 65) where he discusses the remains of some buildings in the former kingdom of Judah approximately dated to the Persian period, and interprets them as estates.
