Le présent article, à travers l’examen de deux des orientations de l’analyse du pour-soi telle qu’elle se présente dans L’Être et le Néant, se propose de dégager les différents niveaux de constitution et de signification de la notion de facticité chez Sartre, afin d’en montrer la spécificité. On peut ainsi distinguer entre deux niveaux de facticité : un niveau premier concerne l’émergence du pour-soi au sein de l’en-soi et un niveau second de structuration interne de cette facticité. Dépassant le cadre d’une qualification du pour-soi lui-même, la notion de facticité, à travers les structure du corps et de la situation, devient une dimension du monde lui-même ressaisi à travers la liberté. Ce parcours permet de mieux déterminer les liens et les différences avec une autre notion centrale de Sartre, celle de contingence. Ainsi peut-on dégager, de la contingence à la situation, les dimensions et configurations de la facticité dans leur unité et leur diversité, en fonction des niveaux existentiaux à partir desquels elle se trouve appréhendée.

The present article intends, through an examination of two orientations of the analysis of the for-itself, such as it is presented in Being and Nothingness, to work out the different levels of constitution and signification of Sartre’s concept of facticity, in order to show its specificity. There are two levels of facticity to distinguish: one first level related to the emergence of the for-itself from the in-itself and a second level of internal structuration of this facticity. As it is exceeding the scope of a determination of the for-itself, the concept of facticity becomes – through the structures of the body and the situation – a dimension of the world itself, regained through liberty. This course allows a better determination of the connections and differences to another of Sartre’s central concepts, that of contingency. In this way it is possible to lay open, from contingency to situation, the dimensions and configurations of facticity in their unity and their diversity, to lay them open in relation to the existential levels from which facticity is apprehended.

Der vorliegende Artikel beabsichtigt, auf dem Wege einer Untersuchung zweier Richtungen der Analyse des Für-sich, so wie sie in Das Sein und das Nichts vorgenommen wird, die verschiedenen Konstitutions – und Bedeutungsebenen des Begriffes der Faktizität bei Sartre herauszuarbeiten, um ihre spezifischen Eigenarten aufzuzeigen. Man kann zwischen zwei Faktizitätsebenen unterscheiden: eine erste Ebene betrifft die Emergenz des Für-sich inmitten des An-sich und eine zweite Ebene die innere Strukturiertheit dieser Faktizität. Indem der Begriff der Faktizität über eine bloße Bestimmung des Für-sich hinaus geht, wird er – durch die Strukturen des Leibs und der Situation – zu einer Dimension der Welt selbst, die durch die Freiheit wiedererlangt wird. Diese Vorgehensweise erlaubt eine bessere Bestimmung der Zusammenhänge und Unterschiede bezüglich eines anderen zentralen Begriffs bei Sartre, dem der Kontingenz. So kann man, von der Kontingenz bis hin zur Situation, die Dimensionen und Konfigurationen der Faktizität in ihrer Einheit und Vielfalt herausstellen, nämlich in Abhängigkeit von den existentiellen Ebenen, von denen ausgehend sie erfaßt wird.
