This edited volume by Emma Bond and Michael Morris originates from the works of the “Transnational Scotland: Reconnecting Heritage Stories through Museum Object Collections” network that ran between 2019 and 2020. Funded by the Royal Society of Edinburgh and set up by the two editors, this network gathered professionals from a group of Scottish museums who wished to start a conversation on the imperial legacy of Scotland.
