Soucieux d'améliorer l'accès à la documentation scientifique, le SRA Alsace a développé depuis 2006 un système de gestion global de la documentation. Mis au point en collaboration avec les partenaires régionaux, celui-ci inclut un outil d'inventaire des archives de fouille (AFX) et du mobilier (MobX), ainsi qu'une base de consultation mutualisée, Pléade. Bâtis selon la même structure, les modules AFX et MobX offrent d'abord une orientation pour le responsable d'opération dans l'enregistrement et l'inventaire du mobilier et de la documentation, et fournissent des données homogènes au SRA. Ils permettent dans un second temps une consultation et une interrogation transversale des inventaires grâce à la base Pléade – dans laquelle sont par ailleurs versés d'autres types de documents (rapports numériques, notices BSR, etc). En parallèle se pose la question de la conservation à long terme des données, notamment numériques (stockage, format). Pour ce qui est de la consultation des fonds, le futur CCE régional conservera non seulement le mobilier archéologique, mais également une copie numérique de la documentation y afférent. Il apparaîtra, à l'horizon 2015, comme un lieu unique de l'accès à la documentation régionale.

It will appear, towards the horizon of 2015, as a unique place of the access to the regional documentation.
