Cette étude souhaite contribuer au renouvellement de nos représentations théologiques sur la création, en déployant notamment l’idée que le monde « fait sens ». Pour ce faire, nous partons de l’analyse des versets difficiles de Gn 3, 16-19, où sont prononcés les jugements divins sur l’homme et la femme après leur consommation du fruit interdit. Le texte semble résister aux différentes exégèses avancées et ne s’éclairerait, selon nous, qu’à partir d’une lecture intertextuelle avec le Nouveau Testament, dans l’horizon de l’avènement du Royaume. Une telle analyse nous mène à énoncer la notion de « chair-parabole », que nous développons à partir d’une définition de la parabole mettant l’accent sur le rapport qu’elle entretient avec l’intertextualité.

This study aims to contribute to the renewal of our theological representations of creation by developing the idea that the world ‘makes sense’. Our starting point is an analysis of the difficult verses of Gen 3:16-19, where the divine judgments are pronounced on man and woman for eating the forbidden fruit. The text resists the various existing exegeses and, in our view, can only be understood by a reading that includes intertextuality with the New Testament and reference to the coming of the Kingdom. Such an analysis leads us to formulate the notion of ‘flesh-parable’, which we develop on the basis of a definition of parable that emphasizes the fact of intertextuality.
