Ever since someone came up with the idea of calling it Digital Humanities (which I dislike), various attempts have been made to tell people what this/these "Digital Humanities" actually mean/s. My own explanation goes along these lines: DH is a research paradigm that encompasses all kind of research in the Humanities that gains (normally partly) its findings from applying computer-based procedures, practices, and tools.
