Par Axelle Brémont, Institut français d'archéologie orientale Abstract : A second Predynastic object in the IES collection (a red-slipped deep bowl with whitish decoration in the style of C-ware pottery) bears an interesting decoration. While the repertoire is in accordance with the habits of C-ware pottery – herringbone motif, crocodiles and fish – , their morphology is original and does not correspond to any known parallel.
