The World Food Program observes a significant increase in food prices at different market places in Tajikistan. Its report on the weekly prices April 20-24th, the WFP stated that commodities such as chicken, meat, salt, tea, wheat and wheat flour are in “crisis”, while onions, potatoes, rice, maize and beans are in alert status.
