As a country, Mexico was one of the main beneficiaries of the Rockefeller Foundation Fellowship Program in the area of Agricultural Sciences. The collaboration was established in 1941 and led to the creation of the Mexican Agricultural Program, which operated through the Office of Special Studies between 1943 and 1961.
