The author, comparing some texts, comes to the conclusion that, in the conception of the State, Marx (more than Engels) is far away from the liberal, anarchist or romantic utopias. Marx considers that politics (regarded as the class conflict in its self-awareness) and, therefore, also the political State in its meaning of "class State a might run down. But the State as such does not decline, although a "transformation" might mark the end of its class configuration.
