Dyslexia has been thoroughly investigated for more than a century throughthe lens of the most widely-known fields. Issues of neurology, genetics, psychology,pedagogy and linguistics have been raised and important discoveries andobservations have been made in recent years. However, when dyslexia is consideredfrom a linguistic perspective, there are few studies in the field of prosody. In aneffort to address this gap, the objective of this project is to understand the function ofprosody in reading out loud for children with dyslexia.
