Le postrolhàs : survol d’une forme de pidgin enfantin spontané

Résumé 0

In the 1980’s we had the opportunity to observe the emergence and development of a spontaneous lingua franca, coined by five little girls (aged 7-8) of various linguistic backgrounds in the embassies neighbourhood (also called “diplomatic colony”) of Tirana, Albania, over some six months. Four of these children were initially unilingual and two others multilingual. The present contribution aims at sketching a bird’s eye view of this sabir from its various linguistic aspects (phonology, grammar, lexicon, etc.) and attempting some parallels of such and such aspects with concepts known from general linguistics, with focus on pidgins but also different other cases of “simple language” (frustolects, artificial international languages, Globish, etc.).
