Résumé En

This article discusses the theory of psycho-educational criteria ofthe learner as a means of hypermedia educational systemadaptation. To measure learning preferences, several adaptivesystems take into account individual differences particularly, the"learning style" and "style of thought". These concepts refer to aset of pipes and strategies on how to manage and organizeinformation. However, there is still several challenges to dealwith such as those related to the identification of the used stylesand their specification. In our approach, we measure theperformance of a learner with regard to the learning objectiveswhile integrating the characteristics of the model proposed byFelder to describe the learning style of the learner. Moreover, weuse the features defined by the HBDI model to infer the style ofthought of the learner. We consider that the content and teachingstrategy proposed match the learner’s style when its performancefactor is satisfactory. Otherwise, the course design is to beadapted based on the tracks and paths of the learner.
