Higher education knows great changes brought by the introduction of program approach (Sylvestre et Berthiaume, 2013). This text reflects the consensus of a team of trainers UQAR involved in the development of a program approach. Contextual and conceptual elements that governed the scaffolding of the approach are described. The key milestones related to the analysis of the contents of corporate repository, the design of a graduate profile, the development of the curriculum map and the production of master plans. Coherent progression of learning and the establishment of formal mechanisms for consulting are among the benefits adapted to the requirements of the knowledge society.
