A theology for unityLinguistic zones are never successfully sealed off from each other; sometimes certain translations take the form of theological events. This was the case, some years ago, with the translation of Karl Barth of Hans Urs von Balthasar in the éditions du Cerf. It is the case today, on a rather similar subject, with the very first translation in the French language of the Lectures on Justification of John Henry Newman. (...)
