Résumé 0

Nowadays there are many web based information systems focussed on employment, in order to inform people on labour market, supply and demand, and to help them to find a training or a job. We focus our presentation on one specific category of web based information systems, those which are targeted on labour market monitoring. They can come from actors site, they aim is to make known their policy, or from providers, in order to make known (mainly to actors) socio-economical data and knowledge of regional or local territories. In this aim, we firstly describe the context of regional and local policies, specially for young people's unemployment rate (young people aged less than 26 ), in which such information systems are designed. We develop the case of regional information systems in two French regions: Lower-Normandy and Provence-Alpes-Côte d'Azur (PACA), in order to see how they tailor their information system to the needs and requirements of their respective environment. The first section will be devoted to the regional actors, which play a decisive role in defining and monitoring the regional education, training and employment policy. In the second section, we will consider two main information providers: INSEE and Regional Observatories. Lastly, we will have a deeper look on two Maisons de l'emploi et de la formation, which are facilities acting at a sub-regional level, in charge of comprehensive service in advising, counselling and helping young people: one located in PACA, the other in Lower-Normandy.
