Résumé
This study aims at defining operational criteria to identify cultural stereotypes in foreign language textbooks. It will then establish the profile of cultural stereoypes in university-level textbooks of Chinese as a foreign language through a diachronic comparison and a synchronic comparison of four representative textbooks.
