Reform or Refocus the Public Sector : Dynamics and Forecasts The analysis of changes in the public sector of OECD countries enables us to observe two main points : a reduction in the area covered by the public sector and the development of internal reforms. In addition, besides making it possible to draw up an explanatory model, it enables us to foresee the future. It indicates a probable continuation of the reduction in size of the public sector, varying in degree according to the sector.
