Les incunables de la bibliothèque des rois aragonais de Naples

Résumé 0

The most recent research has identified almost 300 editions printed prior 1495 preserved in the library of the Aragonese kings of Naples. Some came directly from the collections formed by members of the royal family, others from those of rebel barons seized by the king in 1485. The whole constitutes a remarkable humanist library, embracing the whole spectrum of secular and Christian ancient Latinity, as well as the great texts of the early Italian vernacular literature.
