In the last years a group of filosophy of science have centred his studies on subjet matters that traditionally the economic historians and economic were approaching. The filosophy of technology extrapoled discussions from the scientific are at the technological one. It has been a question of explaining the technological change from an internal, cognitive, resultant point of view of the activities of resolution of empirical and conceptual problems carried out by members of communities of technological practice. In this work we will analyze the arguments on the filosophy of technology that differentiate areas of thematic interest betwwen these and the economic historians and economist. Secondly, we will show from the economic perspective what type of reconstructions are realized at the moment of explaining such phenomena as change and technological development. In the work we belive that both approaches, they are not alternative but, coexistent and complementary
