Sara Castagnoli et al., « Designing a Learner Translator Corpus for Training Purposes », HAL-SHS : linguistique, ID : 10670/1.tge78l
This article sets out to present the development of a multilingual annotated Learner TranslatorCorpus (hereafter LTC) – a corpus whose core is composed of translations produced bytrainee translators and whose primary purpose is to provide insights into the most significantcharacteristics of such texts in order to inform translation pedagogy. The LTC was designedin the framework of the EU-funded Leonardo da Vinci project called MeLLANGE(Multilingual e-Learning in LANGuage Engineering) which aims at devising a methodologyfor the collaborative creation of eLearning teaching content in the fields of translation andtranslation technology, producing corpus-based teaching materials and, more ambitiously, establishing a framework for a European Master in Translation Technologies.
