Cet article discute la pertinence de l' uvre d'Alf Lüdtke pour appréhender les frontières de la contestation dans le contexte autoritaire cubain depuis la chute du mur de Berlin. Il montre que l'approche de Lüdtke est heuristique sur le terrain cubain car elle permet de penser ensemble contestation et acceptation des règles et des normes dominantes dans un contexte marqué par l'incertitude. Contre la réification de la domination d'un côté et de la résistance de l'autre, elle donne à voir les ambiguïtés et les ambivalences des comportements observés, en ce qu'ils contribuent à la fois au questionnement et au maintien de l'ordre social et politique.

Coproduction of Social Change and Protest in Cuba: Taking Alf Lüdtke to the Socialist Caribbean?This article discusses the relevance of Alf Lüdtke's works to analyze the limits of protest in the Cuban authoritarian context since the fall of the Berlin wall. It shows that Lüdtke's perspective is relevant because it allows to describe and analyse both the acceptance and rejection of dominant norms and rules in a context, which is characterized by uncertainty. Lüdtke's approach therefore enables us to go beyond the domination/resistance dichotomy, to take the ambiguities and ambivalences of people's behaviors into account, and to understand to what extent they contribute to both question and maintain the social and political order.
