Cette contribution se propose d’interroger la construction du collectif à travers le suivi, sur un temps long, d’une expérience très concrète : celle d’un projet d’habitat groupé en cours, dans la région lilloise. Nous essaierons de montrer, dans une « société des individus » attentive à la singularité de chacun, comment la construction d’un collectif devient, dès lors, une tâche éminemment difficile.
