The rescue of the work and figure of Nellie Campobello in the Mexican context is a task that has not yet been achieved, and to understand this particular situation; In the present article, a study in three parts is proposed. In the first part entitled "Antología: puerta de rescate", the contradictory elements that have caused the work of Nellie Campobello to vacillate between recognition and oblivion will be addressed. In a second part entitled "La voz circunscrita", the figure of the writer in post-revolutionary Mexico will be analyzed and for this purpose, it will be using the reception of the work of Nellie Campobello through the analysis of the literary criticism at the time; finally, in a third part entitled "Escritura de la «niña comanche»" the strategies that Nellie Campobello resorted to narrate the Mexican Revolution will be mentioned and some stylistic resources of two of her works will be described: Cartucho (1931) and Las manos de mamá (1937) that will highlight the originality and richness of his writing.
