Die Untersuchung einiger Grund und Zinsbücher vom Ende des 15. Jahrhunderts machen es möglich, die charakteristischen Züge der Landschaft des Limousin und der Marche hervozuheben, und dies vor allem durch die Analyse der Begrenzung der Lehen und der Oberflächenangaben. Sie lässt auch lokale Unterschiede erkennen, die in der inneren Organisation der Lehensbezirke (Belehnung mit einzelnen oder aber zusammenhängenden Parzellen) und in der Hierarchie der Güter und der Personen Ausdruck finden.

In various surveys of the late XVth Century, thanks mainly to the mentions of neighbouring plots, and to area figures, appear the main features of the rural landscape in the Limousin and Marche. Local variations can also be detected, as well as in the internal organization of the tenure (scattered or one-block) and in the hierarchy of goods and persons.

L'étude de quelques terriers de la fin du XVe siècle permet de dégager — grâce surtout à l'analyse des confronts et des indications de surface — les traits caractéristiques du paysage limousin et marchois. Elle fait aussi apparaître des nuances locales, sensibles dans l'organisation interne de la tenure (tenure parcellaire et tenure bloc) ainsi que dans la hiérarchie des biens et des personnes.
