Abstract
. - The 18th century was the era of aerist medicine and experienced a great development of medico-meteorological observations. The present paper tries and explain what it is, at both daily and seasonal time scales. Then the author presents a methodological and epistemological analysis of some observations and summarizes their main results. Thus the study states clear the failure of a true medical geography that would rely on medico-meteorological observations.
